I am TutemRa, the reincarnated soul of both the boy king Tutankhaten from the 18th dynasty in ancient kemet (Egypt) and the boy Emmett Till who’s death sparked the civil rights movement in 1955. I have been actively involved in physical fitness my entire life having spent the early part of my life focused on football, ultimately playing on both a collegiate and semi-professional level. I enlisted into the United States Army on September 21, 1999, the same day that “Emmett Till’s” uncle, Moses Wright Jr stood up in a 1955 Mississippi court room and pointed out “his” killers. I gained the rank of Sergeant quickly because of my leadership skills and work ethic and my last day in the Army was January 15, 2005, Martin Luther King Jr’s birthday. Martin Luther King would rise to prominence after the murder of Emmett Till. In 2005 I began a career as a personal trainer working for several high end gyms throughout NYC. In 2009 I left the corporate gym scene to pursue fitness privately.
After years of training clients I felt there was something missing so I went back to school and attained both an Associates Degree in Massage Therapy and a Tai Chi Instructors Certificate from The New York College of Health Professions. After finishing Massage school I then completed a 200HR Kemetic (Egyptian) Yoga instructors course through YogaSkills School of Kemetic Yoga. In 2023 I completed my second Egyptian Yoga instructors course, Djef Sema Paut in Neteru. I am a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist, a certified Personal Trainer, a certified Tai Chi instructor and a certified Kemetic Yoga instructor (CKYT-200). Currently I am available for 1 on 1 personal training online via Zoom.
